Members and families from ASASA (VIC), ACA (VIC) and Royal Marine Commandos.

The Archery Shield is a friendly archery day organised by ASASA VIC and the Australian Commando Association (ACA VIC) with members of Royal Marine Commandos too.

We had a great turn out with 25 archers of all ages, including both members and families.

The Archery Shield took place at the indoor archery range of Yarra Valley Archery Park, Launching Place. All archers completed 10 serials, each with 3 arrows, at 10m.

Kids as young as 15 years old took part.
It was great to see members bringing along their grandchildren.

The Encouragement Award went to Bev Fuller (ASASA VIC) (on left).

The Results

Based on the average of all archers at 10 metres, the winning Association for 2025 was ACA (VIC) with an average score of 164.

Royal Marine Commandos came in second with an average score of 162, and ASASA (VIC) trailling with an average score of 156.

Well done to everyone for having a fun day!

The Best Junior Archer was Ben H (ACA VIC) (on left) with 205.

The Best Female Archer was Susan MacAndrew (Royal Marine Commandos) (on left) with 192.

The Best Archer was Trav Holland (ASASA VIC) (on left) with 228.
